In the project’s first phase, Chicago-based HSA Commercial demolished a portion of the warehouse buildings fronting Highway 45 to create approximately 270,000 square feet of retail space. By attracting top-tier promotional retailers–such as Nordstrom Rack, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, and Dick’s Sporting Goods–and by constructing the necessary infrastructure to serve the overall project, HSA hopes this initial phase will serve as a catalyst for future mixed-use development on the 69-acre “Burleigh Triangle” site.

Capitalizing on the affluent regional customer traffic generated by the premier national retailers in the project’s first phase, HSA Commercial has broken ground on a complementary dining, shopping, hotel, and residential district along Burleigh Street for the second phase of The Mayfair Collection. Anchored by the leading natural and organic grocery store in the United States, Whole Foods, The District features leasing opportunities for exciting restaurants and bars, upscale furniture and fashion retailers, and Milwaukee area residents seeking the chance to locate in the newest and most dynamic mixed-use environment in the Milwaukee area.
